Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

I was hoping today would look more like this...

...than this:

Oh, well. That's family.

Happy turkey day to all my lovely Canadians!

  1. LOL! And wow, why does the girl in the first picture look so relaxed? I'm jealous of her...

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to you! I still have to wait a month to eat my turkey.

  2. I love Thanksgiving. It's a holiday dedicated to food, almost. I mean it's like we sit there and pray to a turkey and his friend the pumpkin pie. Our Thanksgiving is next month so I am looking forward to it. That and Black Friday, oh it's on like Donkey Kong that day. I shop like a demon.

  3. @Makeup Morsel - Thanks, dear. I feel like our Thanksgiving is too early but yours is too late. Somewhere in the middle would feel just right. And I'm jealous of that girl, too. :(

@D - LOL! I like that: "pray to a turkey and his friend the pumpkin pie." And that's awesome you still have it in you to shop competitively. I would be afraid of getting violent out there!

  4. Happy Thanksgiving, my friend! I know I'm a little late getting this message out to you, but believe it or not, I finally stopped now, after having been in a veritable frenzy since Saturday!! I hope it was a good one and that everyone showed their appreciation for all your efforts! PS: Gotta love those Simpsons and all their insanity!!

  6. @Eugenia - Thank you and I hope (I'm sure) you and your family had a wonderful time!!! It was a bit insane but I'm glad we did it. And now we're enjoying all the leftovers! Mmmm! Hope you get some time to rest and recuperate!!

@Denise - Thanks, Denise. :) We never had turkey dinners either until one year we decided to finally try... and we didn't like it very much. But it felt nice having a giant bird feast, so it remained a tradition. It's not very difficult to prepare but rather time-consuming. Perhaps next year? :)
